The SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) programme aims to promote the use of sustainable fuels in the aviation industry, already demonstrating a CO2 reduction of around 75% compared to conventional paraffin.
As a current alternative for the decarbonisation of aviation, sustainable fuels are expected to be very effective: they are produced from renewable sources and blend perfectly with fossil fuel. Although they are still under development and have a higher cost than conventional fuels, they have the advantage that they can be used in existing aircraft engines with a view to a circular economy.
On the other hand, in the Aetna Group, the holding company of which Robopac is the main brand together with OCME, the issue of travels is substantial, if only in the light of the fact that the Group has a subsidiary on the globe every six hours of time zone.
Robopac is responding to this call, together with other companies and multinationals sensitive to the issue, with a multi-year support programme to further expand SAF deployment globally and to reaffirm the importance of the circular economy in the development policies of various Countries.
This need, in synergy with the travel derived from the drive for internationalisation and commercial requirements, finds valid support in the SAF programme and guarantees that vision aimed at sustainable growth that the Aetna Group promotes starting from internal policies.
Reducing consumption and respecting the environment, translated into every aspect of industrial life, are the answer. Also for a cleaner sky.
