On 23 October, the Aetna Group showroom at its headquarters in Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna) will host the exclusive event ‘Smart Factory - Flexible Packaging’, dedicated to customers in the coffee, pasta, food and pet food sectors. The event will take place immediately after Host, the global trade fair dedicated to the world of catering and hospitality scheduled in Milan, and it will be possible to register at the fair at the Goglio stand, Pav. 12P Stand E56 F55, as well as through the form below.
Building on the success achieved at Ipack Ima last May, where the solution attracted the attention of numerous industry operators, the event will offer an exclusive live demo conducted by experts from Goglio and Aetna Group. Participants will be able to see the latest technological innovations first-hand and fully understand the competitive advantages of smart line integration: operational flexibility, production efficiency and environmental sustainability come together in a single ecosystem, where innovation and digitalisation become strategic levers for business.
Inside the showroom, participants will also be able to see the Aetna Group's TechLab in action, an accredited laboratory that tests and optimises packaging solutions to ensure maximum palletised load stability and safety during transport. Through scientific analyses and real-life simulations, it reduces material use by up to 60%, improves environmental sustainability and customises each solution to the needs of the customer and the product.
The Smart Factory - Flexible Packaging is a complete and compact end-to-end solution that covers the entire process from primary packaging to automated load handling, optimising space, time and resources.
Primary packaging at the Smart Factory - Flexible Packaging is handled by Goglio's latest generation GStar, capable of producing packs from 250 grams to 1 kg of product, at a speed of up to 200 bags per minute. Designed to produce both vacuum and soft packs, eliminate mechanical constraints, reduce space requirements and production costs, GStar also represents a concrete response to sustainability issues, as it is compatible with both traditional laminates and new “recycling-ready” mono-materials. The line is also fully connected to the Goglio MIND IIoT platform, which enables real-time performance monitoring and automated preventive maintenance management, as well as the innovative Fres-co System+, which enhances the synergy between machine and material by recognising the laminate and transmitting the line setting parameters to achieve the best production performance.
The Smart Factory - Flexible Packaging is completed by Aetna Group solutions for secondary packaging and end-of-line. Specifically, the Wrap Around 20 by Sotemapack, a cartoning machine for flexible packaging capable of handling up to 20 cartons per minute, and the Palwrapp by Robopac, a compact palletiser with integrated wrapping machine, which combines efficiency and reduced footprint. The line is completed by OCME's LGV Auriga, an automatic laser-guided vehicle for pallet handling in the factory.
This confirms the collaboration between Goglio and Aetna Group: the line presented, which sees Goglio as the protagonist for primary filling, Sotemapack for secondary packaging and Robopac Palletizers for combined palletising and wrapping, is just one example of the possible integrations.
Goglio offers a wide range of packaging lines for both dry and liquid products, for vacuum, modified atmosphere, hot fill or aseptic packaging, while Aetna Group has a wide range of solutions that can be adapted to customer requirements in terms of speed and product characteristics, thanks to Meypack (secondary packaging), OCME (traditional and robotic palletising), Robopac Systems (medium-high speed wrapping) and Robopac Machinery (semi-automatic wrapping and packaging systems).
This important event will give participants the opportunity to discover the most innovative technologies from Aetna Group and Goglio up close.
