May 11, 2020 - Robopac, in agreement with the Municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna), has provided completely free of charge, an important contribution relating to the packaging of 15,000 masks distributed to citizens resident in the Municipality of Bologna, where the Group headquarters is located. The delivery of the sanitary devices took place at Robopac headquarters on Friday 8 May, in the presence of the mayor of Castel San Pietro Terme Fausto Tinti.
Thanks to its technologies and the commitment of its staff, Robopac was able to deliver in a short time thousands of packaged masks, devices that the public authorities imposed to use in closed public places to contain the contagion: 5,000 masks were packaged in packages of 10 pieces, while the remaining 10,000 in packages of 2. They will be distributed to all residents of the Municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme and the surrounding area.

"As already happened at the other headquarters of Robopac in the province of Rimini and at the OCME headquarters at the service of the community of Parma - commented Alfredo, Enrico and Valentina Aureli, president and CEO of the group - we decided to carry out this activity also in Castel San Pietro Terme, to continue to do our part in this period of emergency and be close to the citizens who live in the places where our companies operate. Once again Aetna Group wants to demonstrate its strong attachment to the territory, making its technology and personnel available. We are convinced that together we will succeed."

The Mayor of Castel San Pietro Terme, Fausto Tinti, said: "When we visited the Robopac plant in Castel San Pietro Terme last January together with the Minister of Economy and Finance Roberto Gualtieri, we were aware that we were lucky enough to host one of the outstanding Italian packaging companies on our territory, but we never imagined that this professionalism would be indispensable in a moment of health emergency like this. Thanks to the fundamental contribution of Robopac, in fact, we were able to deliver to the population carefully packaged and hygienic-proof masks. Today more than ever, the collaboration between institutions and companies is fundamental: no one can save himself, even Pope Francis reminded us, and once again we were sure to belong to a very compact economic and social community".

All packaging operations at the Robopac plant were carried out according to the strictest safety criteria from the hygienic-sanitary point of view: use by the operators of all the protective devices, correct distances between the personnel involved, perfect cleaning of the hands before removing the masks, complete sanitation of the environment, the machines and the work surface.
