Aetna Group is kicking off the new year by participating in the Sigep 2024 trade show at the Rimini exhibition centre. Taking place from 20 to 24 January 2024 (stand 002 in Hall B7D7), the 45th edition of the “Salone Internazionale della Gelateria, Pasticceria, Panificazione Artigianale e Caffè” (International Exhibition of Ice Cream, Confectionery, Artisan Bakery and Coffee) will feature the latest innovations in packaging and advanced technologies.

A landmark in the Sweet Foodservice industry for over 40 years, the fair provides a comprehensive overview of market developments ranging from raw materials to ingredients, from machinery and equipment to furniture, packaging and services. Aetna Group, rooted in the tradition and innovation of the Romagna region, intends to consolidate its market position with a wide range of Robopac-branded products.

A starting point is the Robot S7, the latest generation of self-propelled packaging machines, which, due to R-Connect technology, allows for constant monitoring of production and, in turn, optimises its performance.

One of the models in our range of packaging machines, ideal for low and medium production rates, is the Pack 5040 A. This device for shrink film - featuring a manual or automatic drive arm - is simple, compact and with a capacity of up to 900 products per hour.

Another machine on show will be the Masterplat PGS, a semi-automatic turntable winder with an incorporated pre-stretch system. This innovative machine is positioned as the ideal solution for those who need high-level performance and at the same time do not want to renounce ease of use; thanks to the new icon-based graphic display and parameter selection jog, cycles can be programmed simply and intuitively.

The Robotape 50 TBDE, a top- and bottom-drive taping machine for closing fixed-format cases, will be the star of the packaging showcase.  This technology can handle case sizes up to ∞X500x500 mm with a maximum weight of 50 kg. However, it can adapt to many formats with the same high performance and is easily transported thanks to its wheels.

When it comes to recycling, Robopac will present ReCYCLE, the new machine for compacting and reducing packaging waste materials by up to 70%. This is a solution in line with the Group's ongoing investment in reducing environmental impact and promoting new forms of business.
