The Aetna Group will be a major exhibitor in Djazagro, the world's leading agri-food exhibition. The event will take place from 7 to 10 April 2025 at the SAFEX Exhibition Park in Algiers (Algeria), with more than 600 exhibitors and 23,000 professional visitors from around the world expected to attend.

At Stand F 128 in the Central Hall, Aetna Group will serve as a central point of reference for consolidating collaborations and cultivating constant dialogue between its customers and partners. This is a key step towards an evolution capable of responding to the various needs of a changing world with diverse opportunities.

Located at a strategic crossroads of three worlds - the Mediterranean, the Arab and the African - and therefore the primary reference point for the Maghreb region, Algeria is a land rich in natural resources and hydrocarbons (in the south), as well as agricultural lands and manufacturing facilities (in the north).

It is in this context that the Algerian agri-food industry has emerged as one of the most important sectors of the economy, ranking second only to the hydrocarbon industry in terms of contribution to Algeria's GDP, employing almost 700,000 workers (or 10% of the labour force).

The presence of Aetna Group in Djazagro demonstrates the company's strategic importance to the local market. Due to the development of the food industry, there is an increase in demand for efficient and sustainable secondary packaging solutions. The Aetna Group's consolidated know-how - and the versatility of its machines and plants - make it possible to guarantee production efficiency and support industrial evolution with prompt and customised service. This is all based on the One Global Company philosophy that guarantees the quality of Made in Italy technologies all over the world according to a local-to-local approach.
