23-26 October 2022: a date that marks the important return of an equally decisive event. We are talking about Pack Expo International, the most important international trade fair for the packaging and processing sectors which, after 4 years, is once again back on stage in Chicago - USA.
A dynamic and complete event, with training sessions, networking opportunities and, above all, with the presence of all the key players, ready to bring technological and process innovation to the fore.
Among the most important protagonists, Robopac and OCME will exhibit at Booth North Hall #5906 the most innovative, tested and reliable end-of-line packaging solutions that the Group has created to effectively meet the needs of different product sectors.
A demonstration of the evolutionary power that Aetna Group’s know how, together with its production subsidiary Robopac USA, is constantly able to transmit and spread all over the world. This is only possible thanks to the One Global Company logic that places quality and service as the essential cornerstones of its international presence, guaranteeing the excellence of Made in Italy in the world's most important markets.
Among the technologies of excellence in the field of Stretch Wrappers, the stand will host Robot S7, the super flexible, self-propelled stand alone with stretch film and R-Connect technology, in line with all industry 4.0 requirements and ideal for handling products of any size, shape and weight. There will also be Technoplat, for fully automatic pallet wrapping: it is inserted at the end of the wrapping cycle to cut, fix and weld the final part of the film; then there will be Masterwrap HD, a semi-automatic rotating arm wrapping machine, ideal for stabilizing unstable and heavy loads. There will also be the new Orbit R horizontal stretch wrapper with rotating ring, which can be added to integrated work cells or lines and is designed to handle, with speed and efficiency, elongated products such as doors, windows, cabinets, aluminum extrusions and flooring. Directly from US production comes the LT Automatic Stretch Wrapper, the new turntable stretch wrapper which, with its 40 pallets/hour, is a high-level entry level, guaranteeing high performance in terms of speed, reduced dimensions, lower film consumption and greater safety for operators.
Then there are the main packaging solutions: starting with the Prasmatic TC line of case packers, ergonomic, modular, flexible, with fast format changeover and production between 35 and 85 packs per minute. The Sotemapack WA 20, on the other hand, is the solution with compact dimensions for speeds of up to 20 packs/minute and alternating operation, available in various configurations and perfect for handling products such as flexible pouches and rigid envelopes.
These two technologies will then be the subject of live demos: the first will handle trays of various sizes and bottle packaging, while the second will handle rice packs.
Completing the offer at Pack Expo will be TopTier palletizers, available with integrated stretch wrapping, and intralogistics solutions by OCME that, with laser-guided LGVs, reduce labor costs and, at the same time, improve production efficiency.
Robopac, OCME, in synergy with the Group's companies present in the United States, will therefore be among the top players of the exhibitors to bring the best of innovation in terms of technology, R&D and customer service, guaranteeing once again the excellence of the Aetna Group in the world.

Tra i protagonisti più importanti, Robopac e OCME esporranno al Booth North Hall #5906 le soluzioni di confezionamento di fine linea più innovative, collaudate e affidabili che il Gruppo ha realizzato per rispondere con efficacia alle necessità di differenti settori merceologici.
Una dimostrazione della forza evolutiva che il know-how di Aetna Group, unitamente alla filiale produttiva Robopac USA, sa costantemente trasmettere e diffondere in tutto il mondo. Tra le tecnologie d’eccellenza in ambito Stretch Wrappers, lo stand ospiterà Robot S7, la stand alone super flessibile, semovente con film estensibile e tecnologia R-Connect, in linea con tutti i requisiti di industry 4.0 e ideale per gestire prodotti di qualsiasi dimensione, forma e peso. Ci sarà anche Technoplat, per l’avvolgimento del pallet in modo completamente automatico: si inserisce alla fine del ciclo di avvolgimento per tagliare, fissare e saldare la parte finale del film; poi Masterwrap HD, avvolgitrice semi-automatica a braccio rotante ideale, per la stabilizzazione di carichi instabili e pesanti. Non mancherà neppure la nuova avvolgitrice estensibile orizzontale Orbit R ad anello rotante, che ha la possibilità di essere aggiunta a celle di lavoro o linee integrate ed è studiata per gestire, con velocità ed efficienza, prodotti allungati come porte, finestre, armadi, estrusi di alluminio e pavimenti. Direttamente dalla produzione USA arriva LT Automatic Stretch Wrapper, il nuovo avvolgitore a tavola rotante che, con i suoi 40 pallet/ora, si pone come entry level di alto livello, garante di elevate performances per velocità, dimensioni ridotte, minore consumo del film e maggiore sicurezza per gli operatori.
Non mancano poi le principali soluzioni per il confezionamento: a partire dalla linea di incartonatrici Prasmatic TC, ergonomiche, modulari e flessibili, con veloce cambio formato e produzione tra 35 e 85 pacchi al minuto. Sotemapack WA 20, invece, è la soluzione con dimensioni compatte per velocità fino a 20 colpi/minuto e funzionamento in alternato, disponibile in varie configurazioni e perfetta per gestire prodotti come buste flessibili e buste rigide.
Queste due tecnologie saranno poi oggetto di demo live: la prima con vassoi di varie dimensioni e confezionamento di bottiglie, la seconda gestirà invece confezioni di riso.
A completamento della proposta a Pack Expo, i palettizzatori TopTier, disponibili con fasciatura estensibile integrata, e le soluzioni intralogistiche firmate OCME che, con gli LGV a guida laser, riducono i costi di manodopera e, contemporaneamente, migliorano l’efficienza produttiva.
