Robopac and OCME are among the protagonists of Cibus 2021, the International Food Exhibition of central interest for the Italian agri-food sector, with many solutions in terms of trends and innovation.
One of the most important appointments of Fiere di Parma, the new edition will take place from August 31st to September 3rd and will be attended in presence, this will be the restart of the exhibition sector in full compliance with the anti-Covid 19 regulations.
Robopac and OCME, always at the forefront of research and development of cutting-edge solutions, exhibit at Stand D036 Hall 6 to support the evolution of the packaging sector towards a greener direction, offering eco-sustainable alternative solutions for both secondary and tertiary packaging.
Aetna Group Companies constantly strive to intercept the trends of the packaging sector and to anticipate, when possible, the needs that can lead to an optimization of the service in terms of technologies, productivity and respect for the environment; for this reason, Aetna Group has been able to give very quickly a concrete answer to the increasingly frequent requests of the market for packaging with completely recyclable materials.
A first interesting input comes from the possibility of the Group's packing machines to manage film produced from recycled polymer. Thanks to the collaboration between OCME, ExxonMobil Chemical and RKW Group, a new type of high-quality film has been developed, with virgin polyethylene (PE) and post-consumer recycled plastics. The high mechanical properties, the excellent optics and the shrinking performance guarantee excellent results and the best workability, both on OCME machines and on all Robopac shrink-wrappers.
Secondary packaging can also count on the innovative "Pack2green", a completely recyclable "green" packaging that OCME has developed using the technology of Polaris machine.
By creating a basket with cardboard flaps, OCME has developed an ideal solution not only for cans, but also for PET, glass bottles and many other applications, which maintains the same high performance as the film, with a potential of 300 baskets per minute.
Tertiary packaging  has also benefit from the R&D of Aetna Group companies. Robopac, in addition to being able to use and stretch normal plastic film to the maximum, considerably reducing the use of raw material and guaranteeing the same high performance, can employ on its machines alternative solutions such as: recycled packaging film, biodegradable and compostable packaging film, paper packaging.
This total attention by Robopac and OCME to the needs of the entire packaging supply chain, in order to guarantee maximum safety with reduced consumption of raw materials and full compliance with environmental sustainability standards, confirms Aetna Group's position at the top of the sector as a group strongly committed to innovation and evolution, where versatility, efficiency and quality are the cornerstones of top-of-the-range development.
